Northern Kentucky artist Tackett
to appear at Vevay’s ‘First Friday’

He will display his latex painting
on boards and metal

Staff Report

VEVAY, IND. (October 2011) – Just in time for Halloween, “Of Switzerland County’s” featured artist for the month of October is celebrity artist Billy Tackett, who will present not his zombified works of art based on iconic photos but a softer side of Tackett with his fine art.
Tackett is known for his zombie art but is showing his softer side with a gallery show featuring his fine art works. The paintings are latex paint on board or metal.
“For the most part they are painted using only my fingers to flick the paint onto the board,” Tackett says.
