director, Deana Epperly-Karem.

He is an executive with Fastline Publications in Buckner, Ky., but is most recognized as a former Oldham County Public School teacher and principal of South Oldham High School. His passion for education and his positive influence of young people were two of the most important messages family and friends shared at the dinner meeting.
More than 100 people gathered to see McWilliams win this year’s award, and he was probably the most surprised. Bill Howard, McWilliams' employer, and Sharon McWilliams, his wife, helped organize what often seemed like more of a "roast" than an awards presentation. The evening included many laughs and some poignant moments, including a special video, to honor McWilliams' contributions to the county.
