to present many top bands at Point Park

CARROLLTON, Ky. (July 2005) – The Carroll County Bluegrass Association will play host to the Bluegrass Bash, “Back to the Past for the Future” on July 15-16.
Sponsored by Carrollton-Carroll County Tourism and Convention Commission, North American Stainless, First National Bank, Dow Corning Corp, KFC, Wannabe Inc., Webster Drug Store and others, the event will showcase several locally known bluegrass bands.
Those bands scheduled to perform include The Moron Brothers, Joe Isaac and Mountain Grass, James White and Deer Greek, Cousins of Bluegrass, Dan Branaman and Tri County Bluegrass, Kentucky Blue, Larry Fuller Band, Gary Strong and Hardtimes, Interstate Bluegrass Band, Circle of Friends, Bob Mackey and Pine Hills and Hoosier Hills.

The event will be at Point Park in Carrollton. Friday’s show is from 6 p.m. to midnight. Saturday’s performances begin at noon and end at midnight. Adult admission is $8 on Friday; $12 on Saturday; and $18 for a two-day pass. Senior admission is $6 on Friday; $10 on Saturday; and $15 for a two-day pass. Children 14 and under receive free admission. Advance tickets are available $14 for adults and $11 for seniors. Primitive camping will be available.
